# §351.8. Charges for surveys of plants.


Applicants for the certification service shall pay the Department for salary costs at the rates specified in §§ [391.2](/cfr/9/391.2.md) and [391.3](/cfr/9/391.3.md) respectively for base time, and for overtime, travel, and per diem allowances at rates currently allowed by the Federal Travel Regulations, and other expenses incidental to the initial survey of the rendering plants or storage facilities for which certification service is requested.
