# §147.1. Blood testing procedures.


Blood testing must be conducted in a manner approved by the Administrator. Approved blood testing procedures are listed in the NPIP Program Standards, as defined in [§ 147.51](/cfr/9/147.51.md). Blood testing procedures may also be approved by the Administrator in accordance with [§ 147.53(d)(1)](/cfr/9/147.53.md?p=d-1).
