# §993.12. Substandard prunes.


Substandard prunes means any lot of processed or natural condition prunes failing to meet the applicable grade and size standards prescribed pursuant to §§ [993.49](/cfr/7/993.49.md) and [993.50](/cfr/7/993.50.md) other than pursuant to [§ 993.49(c)](/cfr/7/993.49.md?p=c).
