# §986.39. Trade supply.


Trade supply means the quantity of merchantable inshell or shelled pecans that growers will supply to handlers during a fiscal year for sale in the United States and abroad or, in the absence of handler regulations [§ 986.69](/cfr/7/986.69.md) setting forth minimum grade regulations for merchantable pecans, the sum of handler-cleaned and grower-cleaned production.
