# §900.500. General.


This subpart is issued in accordance with the regulations of the Secretary of Agriculture in [part 1](/cfr/7/part1.md), [subpart A](/cfr/7/subpartA.md), of subtitle A of this title ([7 CFR 1.1 through 1.16](/cfr/7/1.1..1.16.md)), and appendix A thereto, implementing the Freedom of Information Act ([5 U.S.C. 552](/usc/5/552.md)). The Secretary's regulations, as implemented by the regulations of this subpart, govern the availability of records of AMS to the public.
