# §701.127. Maximum ECP payments per person or legal entity.

- (a) A person or legal entity, as defined in [part 1400 of this title](/cfr/7/part1400.md), is limited to a maximum ECP cost-share of $500,000 per person or legal entity, per natural disaster.
- (b) The Secretary may waive the maximum limitations described in [paragraph (a)](#a) of this section to the maximum extent allowed by law.
