# §622.1. Purpose.


This part sets forth the general policies for planning and carrying out watershed projects under Pub. L. 83-566, 68 Stat. 666 ([16 U.S.C. 1001](/usc/16/1001.md) et seq.) and flood prevention projects under Pub. L. 78-534, 58 Stat. 889 ([33 U.S.C. 701b-1](/usc/33/701b-1.md)).
