# §1980.1001. Purpose.


Projects that support the implementation of Strategic Community Investment Plans may receive priority funding from authorized programs found in [§ 1980.1002](/cfr/7/1980.1002.md). The purpose of this subpart is to describe the process by which applications will be reviewed and selected to receive priority funding.
