# §1720.1. Purpose.


This part prescribes policies and procedures implementing a guarantee program for bonds and notes issued for utility infrastructure purposes authorized by section 313A of the Rural Electrification Act of 1936 ([7 U.S.C. 940c-1](/usc/7/940c-1.md)).
