# §1540.1. Applicability of subpart.


This subpart applies to requests for emergency relief from duty-free imports of perishable products filed with the Department of Agriculture under section 213(f) of the Caribbean Basin Economic Recovery Act of 1983, title II of Pub. L. 98-67, 97 Stat. 384 ([19 U.S.C. 2701](/usc/19/2701.md) et seq.) (the Act).
