# §1410.7. Duration of contracts.

- (a) In general, except as provided in paragraphs [(b)](#b) and [(c)](#c) of this section and §§ [1410.70](/cfr/7/1410.70.md) and [1410.80](/cfr/7/1410.80.md), the CRP contract period will be for a term of at least 10 years, and up to no more than 15 years.
- (b) The CRP contract period for land enrolled under a grassland signup as specified in [§ 1410.30(c)](/cfr/7/1410.30.md?p=c) will be for a term of 10 years or 15 years, as requested by the producer.
- (c) CRP contracts for land devoted to hardwood trees, shelterbelts, windbreaks, and wildlife corridors will be for a term of 10 years to 15 years, as requested by the producer.
- (d) All CRP contracts will expire on September 30 of the final calendar year of the contract period.
