# §1280.205. Vacancies.


To fill any vacancy occasioned by the death, removal, resignation, or disqualification of any member of the Board, the Secretary shall appoint a successor from the most recent list of nominations for the position or the Secretary shall request nominations for a successor pursuant to [§ 1280.202](/cfr/7/1280.202.md) and such successor shall be appointed pursuant to [§ 1280.204](/cfr/7/1280.204.md).
