# §1230.54. Appointment.


From the nominations submitted pursuant to [§ 1230.39(d)](/cfr/7/1230.39.md?p=d), the Secretary shall appoint 15 producers or importers as members of the Board, but in no event shall the Secretary appoint producer members representing fewer than 12 States.
