# §1000.1. Scope and purpose of this part 1000.


This part sets forth certain terms, definitions, and provisions which shall be common to and apply to Federal milk marketing order in [7 CFR](/cfr/7.md), chapter X, except as specifically defined otherwise, or modified, or otherwise provided, in an individual order in [7 CFR](/cfr/7.md), chapter X.
