# §158.512. Interview expenses.

- (a) An individual being considered for employment in the DHS-CS may receive payment or reimbursement for travel to and from preemployment interviews, which may include participating in the assessment program described in [§ 158.520](/cfr/6/158.520.md).
- (b) The Department pays or reimburses interview expenses, described in [paragraph (a)](#a) of this section, in accordance with [5 U.S.C. 5706b](/usc/5/5706b.md) and the Federal Travel Regulations at 41 CFR chapters [301](/cfr/41/ch301.md) through [304](/cfr/41/ch304.md).
