# §158.405. Exemption from General Schedule position classification.


The provisions of 5 U.S.C. Chapter 51 regarding classification and [5 CFR part 511](/cfr/5/part511.md) regarding classification under the General Schedule, among other similar laws, do not apply under CTMS, to the DHS-CS, or to talent management involving the individuals described in [§ 158.103](/cfr/6/158.103.md).
