# §660.710. Closure of directed fishery.

- (a) When a quota has been taken, the Regional Administrator will announce in the Federal Register the date of closure of the fishery for the species of concern.
- (b) When a harvest guideline has been taken, the Regional Administrator will initiate review of the species of concern according to [section 8.4.8](/cfr/50/8.4.8.md) of the FMP and publish in the Federal Register any necessary and appropriate regulations following Council recommendations.
