# §300.122. Relation to other laws.

- (a) The relation of this subpart to other laws is set forth in [§ 600.705](/cfr/50/600.705.md) of this title and [paragraph (b)](#b) of this section. Particular note should be made to the reference in [§ 600.705](/cfr/50/600.705.md) to the applicability of [title 46](/cfr/46.md) U.S.C., under which a Certificate of Documentation is invalid when the vessel is placed under the command of a person who is not a citizen of the United States.
- (b) Minimum size limitations for certain species, such as reef fish in the Gulf of America, may apply to vessels transiting the EEZ with such species aboard.
