# §29.72. When will the Service grant a temporary access permit?


Within 30 calendar days of receipt of the application for a reconnaissance survey, we will advise you whether the application fulfills the requirements of [§§ 29.70 through 29.71](/cfr/50/29.70..29.71.md) and issue you a temporary access permit or provide you with a statement of additional information that is needed for us to conduct review of your application.
