# §29.63. What plugging and reclamation requirements apply to my pre-existing operations?


Upon completion of your production operation, you are subject to the reclamation standards in [§ 29.117(d)](/cfr/50/29.117.md?p=d). You must obtain an operations permit in accordance with [§§ 29.90 through 29.97](/cfr/50/29.90..29.97.md), Operations Permit: Application, and all applicable requirements of this subpart, prior to plugging your well and conducting site reclamation.
