# §29.62. What if I intend to conduct new operations or modify my pre-existing operations?

- (a) You must obtain an operations permit before conducting operations that are begun after December 14, 2016 for those new operations in accordance with [§§ 29.90 through 29.97](/cfr/50/29.90..29.97.md), Operations Permit: Application, and all applicable requirements of this subpart.
- (b) You must obtain an operations permit prior to modifying your pre-existing operations for that modification in accordance with [§§ 29.90 through 29.97](/cfr/50/29.90..29.97.md), Operations Permit: Application, and all applicable requirements of this subpart.
