# §223.213. Humpback whales.


The prohibitions of [section 9(a)(1)(A) through 9(a)(1)(G)](/cfr/50/9.md?p=a-1-A..a-1-G) of the ESA ([16 U.S.C. 1538](/usc/16/1538.md)) relating to endangered species apply to threatened species of the humpback whale listed in [§ 223.102(e)](/cfr/50/223.102.md?p=e).
