# §14.23. Live farm-raised fish and farm-raised fish eggs.


Live farm-raised fish and farm-raised fish eggs meet the definition of “bred in captivity” as stated in [50 CFR 17.3](/cfr/50/17.3.md). Except for wildlife requiring a permit pursuant to parts [17](/cfr/50/part17.md) or [23](/cfr/50/part23.md) of this subchapter, live farm-raised fish and farm-raised fish eggs may be exported from any U.S. Customs port.
