# §9701.602. Waivers.


When a specified category of employees is covered by the adverse action provisions established under this subpart, 5 U.S.C. [7501 through 7514](/usc/5/7501..7514.md) and [7531 through 7533](/usc/5/7531..7533.md) are waived with respect to that category of employees. The provisions in 5 U.S.C. [7521](/usc/5/7521.md) and [7541 through 7543](/usc/5/7541..7543.md) are not waived.
