# §582.301. Suspension of payment.


Upon proper service of legal process as specified in §§ [582.202](/cfr/5/582.202.md) and [582.203](/cfr/5/582.203.md), the agency shall suspend, i.e., withhold, payment of such moneys for the amount necessary to permit compliance with the legal process in accordance with this part.
