# §550.1636. Exemption from Fair Labor Standards Act.


The minimum wage and the hours of work and overtime pay provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act do not apply to Border Patrol agents. (See also [5 CFR 551.217](/cfr/5/551.217.md).)
