# §672.31. Requirement to certify compliance.

- (a) A recipient of FTA financial assistance under 49 U.S.C. chapter 53 that is subject to the requirements of this part as specified in [§ 672.3(b)](/cfr/49/672.3.md?p=b) shall annually certify compliance with this part in accordance with FTA's procedures for annual grant certification and assurances.
- (b) A certification must be authorized by the recipient's governing board or other authorizing official and must be signed by a party specifically authorized to do so.
