# §5.43. Petitions for guidance.


Any person may petition an OA or OST component to withdraw or modify a particular guidance document by using the procedures found in [§ 5.13(c)](/cfr/49/5.13.md?p=c). The OA or OST component should respond to all requests in a timely manner, but no later than 90 days after receipt of the request.
