# §387.405. Limits of liability.


The minimum amounts for cargo and public liability security are identical to those prescribed for motor carriers at [49 CFR 387.303](/cfr/49/387.303.md). The minimum amount for the surety bond or trust fund is identical to that prescribed for brokers at [49 CFR 387.307](/cfr/49/387.307.md).
