# §365.110. Need to complete New Entrant Safety Assurance Program.


For motor carriers operating commercial motor vehicles as defined in [49 U.S.C. 31132](/usc/49/31132.md), operating authority obtained under procedures in this part does not become permanent until the applicant satisfactorily completes the New Entrant Safety Assurance Program in [part 385](/cfr/49/part385.md) of this subchapter.
