# §229.91. Motors and generators.


A motor or a generator may not have any of the following conditions:

- (a) **Be shorted or grounded.**
- (b) **Throw solder excessively.**
- (c) **Show evidence of coming apart.**
- (d) **Have an overheated support bearing.**
- (e) **Have an excessive accumulation of oil.**
