# §195.124. Closures.


Each closure to be installed in a pipeline system must comply with the 2007 ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) (Section VIII, Division 1) (incorporated by reference, see [§ 195.3](/cfr/49/195.3.md)) and must have pressure and temperature ratings at least equal to those of the pipe to which the closure is attached.
