# §172.552. ORGANIC PEROXIDE placard.

- (a) Except for size and color, the ORGANIC PEROXIDE placard must be as follows:
- (b) In addition to complying with [§ 172.519](/cfr/49/172.519.md), the background on the ORGANIC PEROXIDE placard must be red in the top half and yellow in the lower half. The text, division number and inner border must be black; the symbol may be either black or white.
- (c) For transportation by highway, a Division 5.2 placard conforming to the specifications in this section in effect on December 31, 2006 may continue to be used until January 1, 2014.
