# §1549.1. Applicability.


This part applies to each facility applying for or certified by TSA as a certified cargo screening facility to screen cargo that will be transported on a passenger aircraft operated under a full program under [49 CFR 1544.101(a)](/cfr/49/1544.101.md?p=a), or a foreign air carrier operating under a program under 49 CFR [1546.101(a)](/cfr/49/1546.101.md?p=a) or [(b)](/cfr/49/1546.101.md?p=b).
