# §1333.5. Machine-Readable Access to Information Required for Demurrage Invoices


In addition to providing the minimum information on or with demurrage invoices, Class I carriers shall provide machine-readable access to the information listed in [§ 1333.4](/cfr/49/1333.4.md). For purposes of this part, `machine-readable' means data in an open format that can be easily processed by computer without human intervention while ensuring no semantic meaning is lost. An `open format' is a format that is not limited to a specific software program and not subject to restrictions on re-use.
