# §1.43. Delegations to the Director of the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization.


The Director of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization is delegated authority to:

- (a) Exercise departmental responsibility for the implementation and execution of functions and duties under [sections 2](/cfr/49/2.md)[8] and 2[15] of the Small Business Act (Pub. L. 85-836) [15 U.S.C. [637](/usc/15/637.md) and [644](/usc/15/644.md)].
- (b) Carry out the functions vested in the Secretary by [49 U.S.C. 332](/usc/49/332.md) (Minority Resource Center).
