# §1.101. Delegations to the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation Administrator.


The Administrator of the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation is delegated authority to:

- (a) Carry out the functions vested in the Secretary by sections [4](/cfr/49/4.md), [5](/cfr/49/5.md), [6](/cfr/49/6.md), [7](/cfr/49/7.md), [8](/cfr/49/8.md), [12](/cfr/49/12.md) and [13](/cfr/49/13.md) of [section 2](/cfr/49/2.md) of the Port and Tanker Safety Act of 1978 (Pub. L. 95-474, 92 Stat. 1471) [33 U.S.C. [1223-1225](/usc/33/1223-1225.md), [1227](/usc/33/1227.md), and [1231-1232](/usc/33/1231-1232.md)] as they relate to the operation of the Saint Lawrence Seaway.
- (b) Carry out the functions vested in the Secretary by [section 5](/cfr/49/5.md) and section 8(a) of the International Bridge Act of 1972 (Pub. L. 92-434, 86 Stat. 731) [33 U.S.C. [535c](/usc/33/535c.md) and [535e(a)](/usc/33/535e.md?p=a)] as it relates to the Saint Lawrence River.
- (c) Carry out the functions vested in the Secretary by section 3(d) of the Act to Prevent Pollution from Ships [[33 U.S.C. 1902e](/usc/33/1902e.md)] as it relates to ships owned or operated by the Corporation when engaged in noncommercial service.
