# §901.101. Purpose.


The Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation (DEAR) in this chapter establishes uniform acquisition policies which implement and supplement the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) ([Chapter 1 of title 48 of the Code of Federal Regulations](/cfr/48/ch1.md) (CFR)).
