# §405.502. Authority.


The authority vested in the HCA to authorize publication of paid advertisements in newspapers ([44 U.S.C. 3702](/usc/44/3702.md)) is delegated, with power of redelegation, to Mission Area senior contracting officials. A Mission Area senior contracting official's redelegation of this authority shall be in writing.
