# §401.103. Authority.


The AGAR and subsequent amendments are issued under 5 U.S.C. [301](/usc/5/301.md) and [40](/usc/5/40.md) U.S.C. 486(c). The Senior Procurement Executive (SPE) has the delegated authority to transmit Departmental acquisition regulations.
