# §2401.103. Authority.


The HUDAR is prescribed under [section 7(d)](/cfr/48/7.md?p=d) of the Department of HUD Act ([42 U.S.C. 3535(d)](/usc/42/3535.md?p=d)), [section 205(c)](/cfr/48/205.md?p=c) of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949 ([40 U.S.C. 486(c)](/usc/40/486.md?p=c)), the general authorization in FAR 1.301, and the Secretary's delegations of procurement authority.
