# §88.111. Certification required.


Each transmitter utilized for operation under this part and each transmitter marketed as set forth in [§ 2.803](/cfr/47/2.803.md) of this chapter must be certified by the Commission for use in [part 88](/cfr/47/part88.md) services following the procedures set forth in [part 2](/cfr/47/part2.md), [subpart J](/cfr/47/subpartJ.md) of this chapter.
