# §80.881. Equipment requirements for ship stations.


Vessels subject to subpart R of this part must be equipped as follows:

- (a) A category 1, 406.0-406.1 MHz EPIRB meeting the requirements of [§ 80.1061](/cfr/47/80.1061.md);
- (b) A NAVTEX receiver meeting the requirements of [§ 80.1101(c)(1)](/cfr/47/80.1101.md?p=c-1);
- (c) A Search and Rescue Transponder meeting the requirements of [§ 80.1101(c)(6)](/cfr/47/80.1101.md?p=c-6); and
- (d) A two-way VHF radiotelephone meeting the requirements of [§ 80.1101(c)(7)](/cfr/47/80.1101.md?p=c-7).
