# §80.655. Use of frequencies.

- (a) **The frequencies available for assignment to maritime support stations are described or listed in—**
  - (1) [Section 80.373](/cfr/47/80.373.md) for scope of communications described in [§ 80.653(b)(1)](/cfr/47/80.653.md?p=b-1);
  - (2) Sections [80.373](/cfr/47/80.373.md) and [80.385](/cfr/47/80.385.md) for scope of communications described in [§ 80.653(b)(2)](/cfr/47/80.653.md?p=b-2); and
  - (3) [Section 80.389](/cfr/47/80.389.md) for scope of communications described in § [80.653 (b)(3)](/cfr/47/80.653.md?p=b-3) and [(4)](/cfr/47/80.653.md?p=b-4).
- (b) Frequencies must be used only on a secondary, non-interference basis to operational maritime communications.
- (c) Use of frequencies assigned to services other than the maritime radiolocation service is limited to one hour per twenty four hour period.
