# §73.1001. Scope.

- (a) The rules in this subpart are common to all AM, FM, TV and Class A TV broadcast services, commercial and noncommercial.
- (b) Rules in [part 73](/cfr/47/part73.md) applying exclusively to a particular broadcast service are contained in the following: AM, [subpart A](/cfr/47/subpartA.md); FM, [subpart B](/cfr/47/subpartB.md); Noncommercial Educational FM, [subpart C](/cfr/47/subpartC.md); TV, [subpart E](/cfr/47/subpartE.md); LPFM, [subpart G](/cfr/47/subpartG.md); and Class A TV, subpart J.
- (c) Certain provisions of [subpart H](/cfr/47/subpartH.md) of this part apply to International Broadcast Stations ([subpart F](/cfr/47/subpartF.md), [part 73](/cfr/47/part73.md)), LPFM ([subpart G](/cfr/47/subpartG.md), [part 73](/cfr/47/part73.md)), and Low Power TV and TV Translator Stations ([subpart G](/cfr/47/subpartG.md), [part 74](/cfr/47/part74.md)) where the rules for those services so provide.
- (d) The provisions of this part applying to licensees also apply to holders of construction permits (permittees).
