# §22.217. Bidding credit for small businesses.


A winning bidder that qualifies as a small business, as defined in [§ 22.223(b)(1)](/cfr/47/22.223.md?p=b-1), or a consortium of small businesses may use a bidding credit of thirty-five (35) percent to lower the cost of its winning bid. A winning bidder that qualifies as a small business, as defined in [§ 22.223(b)(2)](/cfr/47/22.223.md?p=b-2), or consortium of small businesses may use a bidding credit of twenty-five (25) percent to lower the cost of its winning bid.
