# §1.2101. Purpose.


The provisions of [§§ 1.2101 through 1.2115](/cfr/47/1.2101..1.2115.md) implement section 309(j) of the Communications Act of 1934, as added by the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993 (Pub. L. 103-66) and subsequent amendments.
