# §0.484. Amateur radio operator examinations.


Generally, examinations for amateur radio operation licenses shall be administered at locations and times specified by volunteer examiners. (See [§ 97.509](/cfr/47/97.509.md)). When the FCC conducts examinations for amateur radio operator licenses, they shall take place at locations and times designated by the FCC.
