# §95.01-1. General.

- (a) **The provisions of this part apply to all vessels except as specifically noted in this part.**
- (b) Equipment installed prior to August 22, 2016 as required by this [paragraph (b)](#b) may remain in service so long as it is maintained in good condition to the satisfaction of the Officer in Charge, Marine Inspection.
