# §54.25-3. Steel plates (modifies UCS-6).


The steels listed in UCS-6(b) of Section VIII of the ASME BPVC (incorporated by reference; see [§ 54.01-1](/cfr/46/54.01-1.md)) will be allowed only in Class III pressure vessels (see table 2 to [§ 54.01-5(b)](/cfr/46/54.01-5.md?p=b)).
